About the title
The world is gripped by a wave of an unknown mutation that turns people into beasts. Are the mutants dangerous? How is the disease transmitted? François does everything he can to save his infected wife Lana. When she is sent to a hospital branch in the south of France, he and his 16-year-old son Émile follow her there. After an accident, several of the creatures — possibly including François's wife — go missing. Father and son begin a search for Lana that will change their lives forever.
