About the title
At 27, Bellisha still lives with his mother Giselle in a Paris suburb. His life is dull and steady; he isn't ready to grow up or face any difficulties that might come his way. At the same time, he regularly lies to his mother about his successes, sporting achievements, and events in the outside world. When Giselle realizes that they are the last Jewish family in the neighborhood, she asks her son to arrange a move to another country or community. Bellisha, who is not at all inclined toward such a drastic change, assures his mother that he will take care of everything, but is in no hurry to move.
