About the series
The detective series "Women in Blue" is about the first all-female police squad in 1970s Mexico. It is both a thriller and a drama, in which the crimes of a serial killer almost pale in comparison to the everyday violence around them. Forbes Woman explains how the series, inspired by real events, weaves an important conversation about sexism and discrimination into its detective storyline.
