About the title
Charming intellectual Jack inherits a huge elephant named Vera and decides to send her to Sri Lanka. But transporting a 4-ton elephant is a major problem. To make her obey, Jack must learn to whistle masterfully. Gradually growing attached to each other, Jack and Vera become true friends.
