About the title
In the quiet Finnish town of Lapua, where the air is thick with the smell of gunpowder, stands a cartridge factory. The plant is the heart of the local economy, employing most of the town's population — mostly women. Despite the potential danger, the residents value their jobs, since the work is generously paid. Among them is Matti, a young machine operator who also works part-time as a firefighter.
