About the title
Four strangers discover that they are descendants of a woman named Adèle and travel to her abandoned house in Normandy. While sorting through her belongings, they stumble into a time portal that transports them to 19th-century Paris, where young Adèle is trying to find out about her mother and find her place amid the atmosphere of the "Belle Époque."
