About the title
Antonio Prieto decides to spend the summer in the mountains near Málaga. There he hopes to find peace and inspiration for writing a new novel. The unusual behavior of his new acquaintances awakens in him the desire to write about them. He becomes interested in the life of the community and quickly realizes that the locals are hiding numerous secrets from him. Antonio comes to the horrifying realization that reality is far more frightening and incredible than his boldest imaginings.
