About the title
Deep underground, on the island of Bornholm, a whole troll world unfolds. Vibrant life bustles here with parties and thrilling bat rides, but there are unbreakable rules passed down from generation to generation. The most important one states: never go to the surface, for humans are treacherous and dangerous. However, this law only irritates the young troll Bölle. He can't sit still, and curiosity constantly pushes him toward mischief. So one day, giving in to an adventurous mood, he and his sister finally make their way up to the surface. At first they expect to see monsters, but instead discover a bright, strange, and not at all scary world. However, the joy of discovery quickly turns to anxiety when they learn that the real threat awaits where they least expect it.
