About the title
The eternally young and always impeccably dressed Koschei has somehow been unable to find himself a bride for three hundred years now. He has intimidated, kidnapped, and turned various princesses into frogs, but none of this courtship has helped the prince of darkness. Meanwhile the beautiful warrior maiden Varvara does nothing but fend off suitors coveting her dowry in the arena. However, having gotten hold of Koschei's needle, Tsar Goroh figures out a way to reach Varvara. Only he hasn't accounted for one thing — though Koschei's death is sealed within the needle, love may yet awaken in his heart...
