About the series
The protagonist, Gavr, is the leader of an organized crime group from a provincial town. After serving 15 years in prison, he is released and decides to bring to life an idea he spent a long time developing behind bars: Gavr decides to make a movie — a truthful film about gangsters that will honestly tell of the fate, adventures, and codes of these people. Helping Gavr will be his friends — the grumpy taxi driver Belyash and Kolyan, a guard from a private security firm. Since this is the first time these former gangsters have ventured into filmmaking, they act using their familiar methods, and the actor who is supposed to help them make the film ends up taken hostage.
