About the title
The story unfolds in the small town of West Craven, centering on Audra, an ordinary girl who receives a large, well-kept house near the ocean as a graduation gift. She moves into what she believes is her dream home, only for her life to quickly become eventful, as it turns out that Audra's cottage is home to sinister, aggressive monsters who strongly disapprove of its new owner. From that point on, Audra and the people who find themselves in the house are forced to fight for their lives.
