About the title
Three suburban friends spend the summer hanging out and, in the evenings, sneak into a house slated for demolition to spray graffiti. When one of them is attacked on the way home by her ex-boyfriend, who tries to rape her, the girl recalls a story she just heard from a friend and summons Kandisha—a vengeful spirit from Moroccan folklore who kills only men. The next day, she learns that her ex was struck and killed by a car that very same evening.
