About the title
At the center of the story is Madea's brother, the stubborn and blunt Joe, who sets off on a trip with his grandson B.J. to help him choose his future college. But for Joe, the trip is more than just touring campuses. He intends to teach his grandson about "real life," instill a sense of responsibility, and remind him of his family roots. The trouble is that grandpa's tough, old-fashioned approach clashes sharply with the modern views of the younger generation.
