About the title
The elder of a pagan community tries to save his people from the wrath of the ancient god Dzhikirag. Since ancient times, the people of these lands lived in peace with the deity and strictly observed the pact made between them: no mortal takes more from the forest than they need to survive. But when the villagers, losing their fear, break the promise made to the god, he comes to take revenge. The broken balance brings terrible destruction, madness grips the community, and now none of the pagans can escape brutal retribution.
