About the title
11-year-old Lacy has no friends, and she asks her mother Janet to pick her up from camp so they can spend the summer together at home. But Janet is not so easy to be around. She effortlessly makes men fall for her and is friends with everyone around her, though it does not make her happy. Janet seems to be from another planet.
