About the title
Despite a difficult childhood, Lily Bloom decides to start her life over and moves to Boston, dreaming of running her own business. She meets neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid, and strong feelings ignite between them. Lily notices traits in Ryle that remind her of her parents' relationship. At the same time, her first love, Atlas Corrigan, reappears in her life. As her relationship with Ryle changes, Lily realizes she must make an incredibly difficult choice that will determine her future.
