About the title
An elderly Japanese man nearing retirement age learns he has a terminal illness. He cannot bring himself to tell his indifferent family, so he quietly pours out his grief to a stray dog that has taken to him. At that moment strange lights appear in the sky, the old man is blinded and loses consciousness, and when he comes to, it turns out some unknown force has transformed him into a humanoid combat robot. Now grandpa Inuyashiki can fly and turn his arm into a machine gun, but he prefers to heal terminally ill children. And here's the trouble: similar powers were granted to a high schooler named Shishigami, a cynical nihilist who kills left and right without the slightest remorse.
