About the series
Louis de Pointe du Lac tells journalist Daniel Molloy his epic story of love, blood, and the dangers of immortality. Weary of the restrictions of being a Black man in New Orleans at the start of the 20th century, Louis can't resist the offer of the seductive Lestat de Lioncourt to escape it all by joining him as his vampire companion. But Louis pays a monstrous price for his new intoxicating powers, and the arrival of Lestat's new ward, the child vampire Claudia, soon sets them on a decades-long path of revenge and redemption.
