About the title
It's not for nothing that Riverton is called the quietest city in the world, since law and order there are guarded by the invincible Inspector Gadget — a cyborg whose body contains thousands of devices for fighting crime. He alone is worth an entire police precinct, and since criminals fear him like fire, they steer clear of Riverton. But it's too early for the superhero to rest on his laurels: his place may be taken by a new-generation cyborg, the mechanical girl Gadget-2.
