About the title
The story of one year in the life of ambitious student Yigal Amir, who was planning the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. The young man is influenced by certain religious and political forces that shape Yigal into a cold-blooded killer. While Yigal's father, Shlomo Amir, tries to instill humanistic values in his son, the young man demands that rabbis grant him permission to kill Yitzhak Rabin.
