About the title
A famous film director begins shooting a new film meant to be his masterpiece. But from the very start, everything goes wrong. His longtime producer, who is also his wife, leaves to work with another director. The leading actress tries to turn the epic into a romantic melodrama. And the new producers demand more spice.
