About the title
Samuel is confined to a wheelchair and lives on an isolated estate with his mother Elena and other strange household members. When the young and beautiful Denise arrives at the house, Samuel finds the strength to open himself up to the world. Elena refuses to let her son go and will do anything to keep him by her side.
