About the title
What if children's imaginary friends actually exist and never disappear when a child grows up? Bea, a 12-year-old girl who has lost her mother, lives in such a world, and one day she notices a huge purple monster walking through the streets of New York. She's quickly shown how the world really works, so Bea decides to remind dull grown-ups of the friends they once forgot.
