About the title
Figure skater Emily finds herself alone on an ice floe drifting in the Arctic Ocean. She's being carried off by the current, the ice is melting beneath her feet, and there's nowhere to expect help from. All the girl has is a sleeping bag and a cell phone, and the only voice that breaks through the static is trying to sell her an air conditioner. Battling the elements and her own fears, Emily unexpectedly bonds with a polar bear cub and makes a desperate attempt to save herself in a thrilling icy "show," set against the backdrop of the northern lights.
