About the series
Young, overzealous detective Titov inadvertently blows an operation of the anti-narcotics unit. He accidentally wounds one of the surveillance officers, Shukher, and gets his partner fired. As punishment for botching the operation, Titov is transferred to the surveillance department and assigned as Shukher's new partner. Shukher is a true professional who does everything by the book, which is more than can be said for Titov. By a twist of fate, these two typical opposites in character and lifestyle are forced to be side by side almost 24 hours a day. As a result, every surveillance job the partners undertake turns into a cavalcade of events that ultimately leads to a crime being solved.
