About the title
52-year-old Dr. Viktor Tyrsa, a family man and practical person, works at a private clinic and is skeptical of the belief that life doesn't end after death. One day, an intoxicated bowling alley visitor makes a bad throw, and Viktor suffers a head injury and falls into a coma. Thus the skeptical doctor finds himself in a strange place, in the company of others like him — people who no longer belong to this world but haven't yet been accepted into the next.
