About the title
Vince, a former member of what was once the most popular boy band. But now this troubled former pop star is no longer famous and is in despair. His dream is to regain his popularity. So he starts performing on the streets of Peckham, a working-class and culturally diverse district in southeast London, hoping someone will listen to him. Eventually he strikes up an impromptu jam session with Stevie, a young autistic drummer with incredible talent. Their session sparks an unexpected friendship between the two completely different musicians. And music helps create a unique bond between them. The film has two main characters: Vince, the former lead singer of a boy band, and an autistic teenager, a gifted drummer. Vince represents soulless commercial music, while Stevie represents a purer world of amateur enthusiasts who love music for its own sake.
