About the series
The plot centers on a group of law students whose brilliant criminal-defense professor (Viola Davis) gets entangled in a murder case. At first the story seems too dark and tangled to determine for certain whether the professor is guilty of anything. However, what happens will undoubtedly shake the entire university and completely change the lives of the students mentioned.
