About the title
Once upon a time, in Whoville, there lived a little creature named the Grinch. He was green and hairy, and nobody loved him. The Grinch took offense at the Whos and went to live alone on a windswept mountain. He sat there in his cave, angry at the whole world. Most of all, the Grinch hated Christmas. While the entire population of Whoville celebrated wholeheartedly, the barometer of the Grinch's already permanently bad mood showed something dreadful. Every Christmas became a terrible torture for the green hermit. And so one day the wicked mountain-dweller decided to put an end to the holiday once and for all. While the carefree Whos slept soundly on the night before the holiday, the treacherous Grinch decided to steal Christmas from the townsfolk... Based on the work by Dr. Seuss.
