About the title
Alice is a responsible single mother raising two daughters and living in modern-day Los Angeles. It's not easy for her to cope alone with two girls, but thanks to her loyal friends, the heroine of "Visiting Alice" doesn't lose heart. While celebrating her fortieth birthday, she gathers all her friends together, who immediately start urging the birthday girl to start a romance with someone.
