About the title
11-year-old Hilda grew up in a little house in the mountains until she and her mother Johanna, along with her fox-deer Twig, had to move to the town of Trolberg, where she met a variety of other mythical creatures. "The Mountain King" is a feature-length continuation of the "Hilda" series, at the end of which the heroine turned into a troll. The adventures of Hilda and her friends are based on the children's book series by Luke Pearson — a writer for "Adventure Time" — who created a cozy world where curious kids encounter characters from Scandinavian bestiary.
