About the title
More than a thousand years ago, a tormented soul wandered the Earth — a demigod, half-man: Hercules, the mighty son of Zeus, king of the gods, who, having completed all twelve labors, lost his family and now finds comfort only in bloody battles. Over the years he gathers around him six equally lost warriors, for whom battle and the presence of mortal danger have become the sole meaning of life. These men and one woman never ask where, why, or against whom they will fight — only how much they'll be paid. Knowing this, the Thracian king Cotys hires these warriors to train his soldiers and forge them into the strongest and greatest army of all time.
