About the title
A young man with a head injury is washed ashore by the waves near a small Indonesian village. He is taken to the local hospital, where he is cared for by the attentive Dr. Ailin, who names him Ishmael, taking the name from the book about Moby Dick. When the man wakes up two months later, he remembers nothing of his past life or his real name. The characters travel to Jakarta to remove bullet fragments from his skull, but unexpectedly fall into an ambush set by gangsters working for the sinister Li. The girl is kidnapped, and now Ishmael must face the most dangerous criminals alone, while flashes of his past life begin to return to his memory.
