About the title
After ten years of silence, Hannibal Lecter writes a letter to FBI agent Clarice Starling, proposing to resume their interrupted intellectual duel. With the help of millionaire Mason Verger, another victim of the mad doctor who now dreams of feeding Lecter to a pack of voracious wild boars, Clarice picks up the trail of the elusive maniac and soon learns that he is already being hunted by Florentine police inspector Rinaldo Pazzi.
