About the title
The film is a direct continuation of John Carpenter's original 1978 picture and disregards the events of all existing sequels to the cult horror franchise. The famous masked serial killer, who strikes on the eve of All Saints' Day, has returned once again, as uncontrollable evil always returns. Now-aging Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) awaits a final confrontation with Michael Myers (Nick Castle), who has relentlessly pursued her ever since she narrowly escaped death at the hands of the ruthless maniac four decades ago, on Halloween night.
