About the title
The events take place in the early 1900s. Ahn Jung-geun leads the movement for Korea's independence and has been waging a liberation struggle against the Japanese for several years. After a particularly bloody clash, he turns out to be the only surviving resistance fighter. Hoping to restore his comrades' shaken trust, Ahn Jung-geun decides to lead a daring operation: he and his allies must travel to the city of Harbin and carry out an assassination attempt on Japan's prime minister. The film is based on the true story of Korean independence fighter Ahn Jung-geun.
