About the title
The pastor of a small Protestant parish learns that his wife is cheating on him, and that the promotion he had been counting on will most likely go to the church head's heir instead. When his young son suddenly disappears, the man receives a divine revelation that a new member of his congregation — previously convicted of sex crimes — is involved.
