About the title
Poor Mitya has gotten himself into real trouble: he accidentally proposed, and his girlfriend's father, as if he'd been waiting for exactly this, immediately set a wedding date. Everything would be fine, except that Mitya... is already married! He returns to his hometown to urgently get a divorce. But Vasilisa (or simply Vasya), whom he hasn't lived with for a long time, is a cynical bitch, and he'll have to fight for the divorce. The easiest way to speed things up is to present the first "fiancée" he can find. Who knew she had a real fiancé, a local musclehead... Everything gets thoroughly tangled when Mitya's former classmates — the henpecked Pasha and the con artist Garik — take it upon themselves to sort out the situation.
