About the series
Moscow, 1982. Scientist Matvei Piotrovsky builds a time machine and conducts an experiment that splits an apartment into two parts. The first half remains in the 1980s with the professor, while the second is transported to 2020, to a modern family: businessman Sergei, his wife Svetlana, and daughter Kristina. This forced cohabitation causes a great deal of inconvenience for everyone, since, due to the overlap of two time periods, each family is denied access to the other part of the apartment. But the problems don't end there: the inventor's grandson, Pavel, having waited 38 years, tries to prevent one tragic event.
