About the title
Eleven-year-old Jabai, who sells wild mountain onions along the highway, one day catches his mother with a truck driver she idolizes. Jabai and his sister Saniya set off on a journey from their small village in Kazakhstan to China to obtain the one thing that will help their father become a strong man and save their family.
