About the title
Seventeen-year-old Sam, a kind and caring girl, goes on a hiking trip in the mountains with her father and his old friend. The weekend was meant to be a chance for Sam and her father to grow closer and mend their family relationship, and the same for his jovial friend, who had planned to bring his own son along. But the boy backs out of the trip, leaving Sam alone with two grown men going through a midlife crisis. The girl tries to find common ground with her companions, but everything changes when Sam faces real betrayal.
