About the title
The wicked desert god Set treacherously kills his brother Osiris and usurps power over the Egyptian kingdom. The sky god Horus, the rightful heir to the throne, is blinded and sent into exile. Yet amid the ensuing chaos and darkness, someone emerges who doubts the new king's legitimacy. To bring his beloved back to life, a young and resourceful thief strikes a deal with Horus, who is consumed by vengeance. Together they face an astonishing, danger-filled journey, full of ambushes, enemy fire, tragedies of jealousy, and miraculous escapes.
