About the title
Searching to confront the Beast — a man with extraordinary abilities who is once again killing girls — David Dunn picks up the trail of Kevin Crumb. But before the decisive showdown can take place, both men are caught and sent to a psychiatric hospital. Already held there is the frail Elijah Price, who years earlier orchestrated a train wreck that David alone survived. Psychiatrist Ellie Staple tries to convince the three patients that they do not possess superpowers and that everything can be explained rationally.
