About the title
A chamber orchestra is on the verge of closing — city hall no longer wants to fund it from the municipal budget. As a last hope for continued funding, a world-famous cellist is invited to join the orchestra. However, it very quickly becomes clear that his inner world is far from as brilliant and wonderful as his public image. Relations between the orchestra members begin to grow tense. Just minutes before the orchestra is due to take the stage before a packed hall, disaster strikes the star performer.
