About the title
San Francisco. On the morning of January 1, 2009, at Fruitvale metro station, 22-year-old Oscar Grant has an encounter with police officers. This encounter will turn an unknown young man into the hero of a crime story. The film tells of the twenty-four hours leading up to this event.
