About the title
From the very first shot, the breathtaking, impassable snowy expanses take your breath away: massive blocks of ice loom over sailors bundled in tattered coats. The ship is trapped in northern waters, where the hardest part of these wild lands isn't escaping the crystalline shoals, but taking on an accidental passenger. But Captain Anderson is destined to witness the meeting of a shaggy man with a cold heart and a frenzied monster with an open soul and clenched fists. The prologue gives way to two chapters — creation and farewell: in the first, scientist Victor Frankenstein, obsessed with the idea of defeating death, experiments with eugenics and electricity. In the next, the Creature born of his experiments wants to learn to live and even love, but its timid feelings toward the world around it are doomed to go unrequited because of the outward hideousness of a being stitched together from other bodies.
