About the title
The year 2017. Life on Earth has become harsh and cruel. Natural resources are running out, and the population has grown monstrously. The result is a strict regime and a new law stating that a woman may have only one child. After the death of their firstborn, Brennick and his wife Karen break the law and are expecting the birth of a second child.
