About the title
The story of the extraordinary life of Forrest Gump, a slow-witted but harmless man with a noble and open heart, is told from the main character's own point of view. In a fantastical turn of events, he becomes a famous football player, a war hero, and a successful businessman. He becomes a billionaire, yet remains just as guileless, simple-minded, and kind. Forrest enjoys constant success in everything, and he loves a girl he was friends with as a child, but she returns his feelings too late. Based on Winston Groom's novel "Forrest Gump"
