About the title
Will and Stella are companions in misfortune. Stella has practically lived in the hospital for a long time now. She has a dangerous illness. One day, a young man named Will is admitted to the clinic, and his condition turns out to be exactly the same as Stella's disease. The young man and woman spend a lot of time together, share their feelings, and get to know each other more and more. But the two cannot get closer than a meter apart, since the illness could cause both of them to die. Ahead of each of them lie endless operations and a long course of treatment, and no one knows whether the lovers will be able to overcome all the obstacles and finally be together. But each of them has one goal: to recover and begin a new, happy life.
