About the series
'The Fixies' is an animated series made in 3D and Flash by the Aeroplan studio ('Mountain of Gems', 'Multi-Russia'), based on Eduard Uspensky's story 'The Warranty Men'. It's a series about little people who live inside machines and appliances, look after the equipment, and fix minor breakdowns. Each episode of 'The Fixies' is devoted to one of the devices or appliances that surround children every day. Through play, 'The Fixies' teaches children how the world around them works, how technology functions, and how to use it carefully and safely. Who the Fixies really are is, of course, a big secret, but some already know that this is the name given to the little people who live in machines, appliances, and other man-made things. They know technology inside and out and give plenty of useful advice. And they're also very honest and good friends!
